Exploring the Advantages and Applications of Graphite Carbon Crucibles

crucibles
  1. We proudly launch a new Graphite Carbon Crucibles that replaces imported graphite and composite iron crucibles. This product has the following characteristics:

- The cost performance of this Graphite Carbon Crucibles is more than 50% higher than that of foreign products of the same model, and the quality is 3-5 times that of domestic products.

- This  Graphite Carbon Crucibles Has excellent heat transfer performance, comparable to composite iron crucibles. High thermal efficiency, can save up to 1/3 of energy.

- Its extended lifetime (more than three months) reduces downtime. It resists oxidation and corrosion.

- The product is easy to use and requires minimal operation by the staff. Just dry to apply, no brushing or coating required, no ironing of aluminum or castings.

  1. How to make graphite molds, what are the different molding methods for graphite molds? Let's discuss this at Wenzhouo Future Co., Ltd.

- Graphitization products include graphitized electrodes, graphitized anodes,

graphitized blocks, high-purity, high-toughness, and high-density graphite.

- The main raw material of this type of product is petroleum coke or pitch coke, which undergoes high-temperature heat treatment above 200 ℃ to convert amorphous carbon into graphite. The main features of graphitized products are C>99%, ash <0.5%; excellent electrical and thermal conductivity; and superior corrosion resistance. The production process is complicated and lengthy, usually takes 40-60 days.

- Carbon factory products refer to blanks that can be used immediately after firing at 1300°C. These products can be divided into low ash carbon factory products with C>99% and high ash carbon factory products with C>90%. The production cycle is usually 30 days.

- Commercial paste means a product obtained by uniformly mixing pulverized long-flame coal or coke particles with a binder, heating and mixing them, and forming them into small pieces or containers under superheated steam without further pressing or heat treatment. These products have two main uses: as continuous self-baking electrodes and as bonding and sealing materials for stacking carbon blocks. The production process of commercial pulp is simple, the production cycle is short, and the cost is low.

- Graphitized electrodes are used as conductive materials in the electric smelting industry for smelting various carbon steels, non-ferrous metals, rare metals and other non-ferrous metals. Graphite electrodes are also used in smelters of cemented carbide cutting tools and in the production of quartz glass tubes. Graphitized electrode blanks can be milled into various types of graphite tubes and graphite crucibles.

- Pure graphite is chemically treated, washed with water, and swelled at high temperature to make flexible expanded graphite material. These high-quality materials can be used to produce various graphite products, such as graphite paper, graphite cardboard, graphite tube, graphite groove, graphite rod, etc. To achieve this, a forming process is required, that is, the use of mechanical equipment to produce and process graphite products of various specifications, shapes, and sizes. At present, there are mainly three forming methods: roll forming, press forming and extrusion forming.
