Introduce of Graphite Crucibles

Purpose of graphite crucible:
Graphite crucible is a refractory vessel made of natural flake graphite, wax stone, silicon carbide and other raw materials, used for smelting and casting copper, aluminum, zinc, lead, gold, silver, and various rare metals.

Instructions for using crucible products
1. The specification number of the crucible is the capacity of copper (#/kg)
2. Graphite crucibles should be kept away from moisture and must be stored in a dry place or on a wooden frame.
3. Handle with care during transportation and strictly prohibit falling or shaking.
4. Before use, it is necessary to heat bake in the drying equipment or by the furnace, with the temperature gradually rising to 500 ℃.
5. The crucible should be placed below the surface of the furnace mouth to avoid wear and tear on the furnace cover.
6. When adding materials, it should be based on the solubility of the crucible, and too much material should not be added to avoid expansion of the crucible.
7. The discharge tool and crucible clamp should conform to the shape of the crucible, and the middle part should be clamped to avoid local force damage to the crucible.
8. When removing slag and coke from the inner and outer walls of the crucible, it should be gently knocked to avoid damaging the crucible.
9. A suitable distance should be maintained between the crucible and the furnace wall, and the crucible should be placed in the center of the furnace.
10. The use of excessive combustion aids and additives will reduce the service life of the crucible.
11. During use, rotating the crucible once a week can extend its service life.
12. Avoid direct spraying of strong oxidation flames on the sides and bottom of the crucible.
